The Emerald House Details
Downstairs
The Emerald Lake house is entered via a covered porch way, in to a hallway where there is plenty of space for shoes and coat storage. There is a brand new luxury spacious shower room with WC which has recently being renovated.
The Living area consists of two large sofas, a 32" flat screen TV with built in Free view, a dining table with seating for 6, a selection of board games and books as well as lots of information about the local area including maps and leaflets. Wi-Fi is included. There are patio doors which open out on to a south facing sun deck with stunning views of the lake.
The state-or-the-art Kitchen is well equipped with a built in single oven/grill and four ring ceramic hob, a built in fridge/freezer, a built in dishwasher, washer/dryer, a microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine.
The Decking - there is a BBQ and a table with seating for up to 6 people on the decking. In front of the decking there is a gravel area with a bench and then a grass area which leads down to the edge of the lake.
Upstairs
Master bedroom there is a brand new king size bed for 2022, a large built in wardrobe with lots of storage space and two bedside drawers. A hairdryer is also provided. This bedroom has stunning views across the lake.
Twin Room - this room is fitted with two (4ft singles) There is a small bedside chest of drawers with lamp between the beds, a larger chest of drawers and is beautifully presented. The room has a velux window with black out blind.
Double Bedroom (3) - this room features a standard adult double bed bought in 2022 and guests love its comfort. There are two small bedside chest of drawers with lamps, a larger chest of drawers and a mirror along with some peg hanging space. The window overlooks the grassy area in front of the lake house and the window has black out curtains.
Family bathroom - newly refurbished, bath with shower over, grey stone marble hand basin, storage and WC.
Towels and bed linen are provided in each bedroom.
All rooms have electric panel heating to make the property nice and warm in all seasons.
Children Amenities
We welcome families at the Emerald Lake House and have put lots of thought in to providing entertainment for them during their stay. We can supply a cot bed (bedding not included), a highchair, stairgate, plastic cutlery, plastic bowls and plastic plates for children. We also have a lovely selection of children's dvds, jigsaws, books and games.
For outdoor play we have a tennis rackets and balls, table tennis bats, buckets and spades, a boules set and a cricket set.
Onsite Facilities
The Emerald Lake House is situated in a quiet part of a gated development incorporating three beautiful lakes. There are lots of excellent facilities onsite, guests have access to three all weather tennis courts - one of which is floodlit, an excellent Children's adventure playground, facilities for table tennis, football, croquet, volleyball, la boules as well as cricket and golf practice nets. A well equipped games room offers a pool table and a table top football.
Our lake house over looks Isis lake which is a quiet fishing lake and offers both trout and carp fishing. Windrush lake is a short walk from the lake house where there is a small slipway for you to launch your own small sailing dinghy, rowing boats, paddle boards or canoes (no motor driven craft are allowed on this lake).
There is on site parking directly in front of the lodge and the environment is great for gentle walks and is very safe for little people on bikes or push scooters.
Please note - The Emerald Lake House is a no smoking property and we are unable to accept bookings for Hen/Stag parties due to site rules. Also no commercial vehicles, trailers, horse boxes or camping vans are permitted on site.
Good News Update: We are now able to take up to 2 'well behaved' dogs per booking.
